Sellers and escrow

Vendors list products with a price, a delivery method, and a feedback record. The record is built from completed orders, and a long history with few disputes is the signal to look for.

Escrow

• When you buy, your coins go into escrow. They do not go straight to the vendor.
• You release them when you confirm the order is complete.
• If something is wrong, you open a dispute instead of releasing. The market mediates between you and the vendor.
• Do not move the conversation off the market to save a fee. The moment it is off the market, escrow does not cover it.

Reading a vendor

• Look at the feedback count, not only the percentage. A 100 percent score on four orders says less than a 95 percent score on four hundred.
• Read the recent feedback, not the old. Vendors change, and the old scores describe a different shop.
• Match their delivery methods to what you actually need. Not every vendor ships every way, and the method matters more than the price on some orders.

Escrow is the reason to keep the whole order on the market. Pick a vendor with a real history, keep the conversation in the built-in chat, and release the coins only when the order is done.
