When it does not load
Most of the time the problem is not the address. It is the connection. Work through these in order, because each one is more common than the last.
Blank for a long time
A first load builds circuits and can take a while. Give it a full minute. If it is still blank, stop reloading the same address and open the next one. Reloading a stuck circuit does not help.
It times out
One onion service being unreachable is normal. Switch to the next address. If all three time out, the problem is your Tor, not the market. Restart Tor Browser and try again. If it still fails on a network you do not trust, try a different network.
It loads, but looks wrong
Compare the last six characters in the address bar against what you copied. A different ending is a different site, and some of them are set up to look like the real thing. The verification page has the full checklist. If the address is right but the layout looks off, the market may be mid-update. Wait a few minutes and reload once.
A warning appears
Inside Tor Browser, .onion sites use their own identity rather than a normal certificate, so a warning here is worth reading, not clicking through. If the warning names an address different from the one you typed, you are on the wrong site. Stop and go back to the block at the top of this page.
If none of these fit, the issue is likely on your side of the connection rather than the market’s. A fresh Tor Browser profile and a different network resolve most of the rest.
